Needing no introduction to the THR and New Orleans faithful, native New Orleanian Paul Sanchez has been a prominent artist on the label since it’s inception. His latest endeavor will be the 6th CD project – either solo or in collaboration with others – for THR.
His latest offering will be called Reclamation of the Pie-Eyed Piper and will be a mix of new songs, cover songs and older songs, one of which will be a duet with Michael Cerveris. After two years of working on something as sprawling as Nine Lives, this will be Paul being Paul with acoustic solo and full band tracks.
It will be recorded live at Piety in August.
